"I am head of automation at MARVINPAC. My work consists in automating the production of our different products. For this, I have to develop prototype machines on a CAD program (Solidworks 2008). Next comes the "project execution" phase.
Thanks to partners in the fields of electricity, engineering, pneumatics and elsewhere, we have the possibility of producing our production lines ourselves. In this job, I’m also involved in the continuous improvement of production, personal safety on production lines and hygiene. To take projects successfully through to completion, I can count on a reliable team made up of people from different backgrounds, which means new ideas abound; and all this in a pleasant working environment."

I am responsible for a range of items, which encompasses the ordering of raw materials and components, all aspects of planning and management of the flow of logistics across Europe. I am fortunate to be in direct contact with people of many countries and this is very exciting for me. It is encouraging to see how the business has developed in the few years that I have been here. I am the head warehouseman and along with other warehousemen we take care of all the logistics in the warehouse. Everyday we unload trucks, conduct quality controls on all arriving products and afterwards we put into storage the pallets. We prepare for the production operators all the necessary raw materials they require for assembly on a daily basis. Finally, we load the finished products onto trucks which make deliveries in Switzerland or abroad. I like this company because Marvinpac’s workforce, executives or employees are constantly seeking the highest levels of quality. These range from aspects of hygiene, to many smaller but important details which lead to our goal of achieving total customer satisfaction. At Marvinpac we evolve in a very good atmosphere, without undue pressure, allowing us to get ahead, which is reflected in the efficiency and quality of our work.

I hold the post of head of Quality, Health and Safety (QHS) within Marvinpac. My main functions are to validate suppliers, to manage the Quality Management System (QMS), training of staff on aspects of QHS, and also to identify avenues for continuous improvement. The outlook for the future of the company and a young and motivated team strongly influenced my choice to join Marvinpac, as well as to getting satisfaction on a professional level. It is indeed very motivating to work for a company in constant evolution and to participate in its development such as the achievement of the ISO 22000 certification.

I am a production operator in a so called room "grey" (a closed room that meets very strict hygiene standards), in which we prepare manually different boxes containing materials of all types. In a "grey" room operators are dressed in a blouse, hair net, white gloves, shoes and a special mask if necessary. The products that are sent out to our customers must be perfect, flawless, without marks or scratches, and accompanying each product a traceability label is included. We work carefully to achieve this goal with the support of the quality department which inspects our work several times a day. I love my job and the company as a whole. There is a real harmony. The company is sympathetic towards its staff and they feel supported when faced with any difficulties they may encounter. I hope to continue working for them for many years to come.

I have worked for Marvinpac for many years. Through the different roles that I have occupied, I have been able to acquire extensive experience in the areas of production, procurement and customer relations. I hold the position of product manager in the marketing department. My job is to develop new products, beginning with their design through to their production. My priority is to meet the needs of our clients while taking into account the constraints of production. Depending on their needs, I make proposals for design, materials, and packaging. I am constantly looking for new sources of supply, negotiating with our various suppliers and ensuring compliance with the charters of product quality and various deadlines. On a daily basis I am in contact with the quality and production departments. I am fortunate to work with colleagues who come from different backgrounds, each contributing their own brand of expertise. Our teamwork allows for greater efficiency in terms of results. It is very fulfilling for me to see the resulting finished product conforming exactly to the expectations of our customers and to the satisfaction of all the various partners of the development process.
