Our industry
Co-manufacturing and co-packing are two processes which most industries outsource.
Co-manufacturing (also called "co-production") relates to the assembly operations or an intervention on the product (e.g. putting samples in a cardboard box). Co-packing means packaging operations (for example, bagging, filling, putting a product into cardboard packaging).
The co-packing / co-manufacturing because it differentiates the product at the last moment, allows you to meet the demands of mass production and personalisation for consumers and distributors.
The European market for co-packing / co-manufacturing is experiencing a strong growth (10 to 15% per year) driven by structural factors:
- The will to sub-contract tasks which are increasingly more technical
- Concentration on the key points of the value chain
- Sales promotions
- Exciting and animated marketing at the launch of new products
- Search for delayed differentiation…
